China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs & Native Animals announced that the 5th International (Yibin) Tea Industry Annual Conference will be held on March 18, 2022.
This is a high-quality, high-standard, high-level, and internationally influential tea industry conference, which will further promote the development of the tea industry, the integration of tea cultures, and the cooperation of tea trade.
Yibin is the hometown of green tea in China, with a history of more than 3,000 years of tea cultivation. It is located at the southern end of the Sichuan province,China.
The climate is mild, the rainfall is abundant, and the vegetation in the high mountain tea area is lush, making Yibin the area with the earliest of tea trees at the same latitude in the country.
It is understood that in 2021, the total area of tea gardens in Yibin City will reach 1.339 million mu, the output of dry tea will be 100,900 tons, and the comprehensive output value of the tea industry will reach 30.53 billion yuan, ranking the forefront of the province.
